things that you could only hope to have done to you. But that is not all that I am. This is something I have dealt with all my life.
I had always been so and so’s girlfriends, or someone’s friends, or
something other than myself. I am a person to.
When I started writing I felt great because I was writing and I was known for me. My name was attached to me and not someone or something. However, it was again shoved in my face that that is all that I am. But I’m not. I have met so many amazing people who are more than authors of erotica. They are mothers, teachers, social workers, computer techs, bankers, nurses, we go to church, we work with PTA at kid’s school, coach sports teams, and the list goes on and
on. Why do we as a society wrap people in labels and stick them there.
It is time that people look past one thing and realize that people can be and do more than just write, or whatever their profession is.
Open your hearts and your minds to the possibility that they are more
than they seem. We are not one trick ponies anymore, and it’s about time we all embrace each other and understand that.
